I'd certainly go for the Pro over the Air though, every time.Because the modern MacBooks lack the versatality and performance that such a pricetag should justify. If OP can get a better experience while playing FM and in his professional life, for a comparatively much lower pricetag, why should he not have the choice? As someone whom uses PCs and Macs, both desktop and desktop, in both my work and personal lives, it appears the new MacBooks are not all they are cracked up to be, and I'm inputting my opinion into the discussion. There are just better options out there for the experience they are looking for. What have you contributed to the discussion with your post (aside for chastising me for giving the OP options), I wonder? It doesn't matter a damn if it doesn't make sense to you or not!As for which is "better", that is entirely, 100% down to what criteria are important to the person making that judgement. Again, I'm just offering my opinion and I believe it is justified - of OP wants to buy a MacBook they can. If there is a non-Apple laptop out there that would run the game better, have better versatility and work better for his professional career, then OP should be given the option, surely? To me, it makes little sense to spend so much more on a laptop that does less, has less options for ports and extenstions of the experience outside of Apple's ecosystem, worse performance and graphics and (depending on your viewpoint) a less modern and user-friendly operating system. It does not seem very coherent to me! But as I said, probably I did not understand your point.About the Mac-No Mac discussion, the matter is that with smartphones, it was the same: I was sick of reading "To buy un iPhone is a waste of money" "If you just need Whatsapp, gmail and a good performance, you don't need to buy an iPhone".The truth is that I had a Samsung s3 and it was the worst purchase of my life, I also had a Huawei and it was a complete disaster. If the OP places a higher value on aesthetics than you do, or if they prefer Mac OS over Windows, or if they need software that is better integrated with Mac OS, or if they simply like Apple products, then a Mac is for them a "better" choice.Your response to the OP was meaningless and completely pointless. ![]()
